Tips for tenants in Ithaca Collegetown rentals during Spring Break

March 28 to April 5 is Spring Break for the students of Cornell University. Many of our tenants will be away from their Cornell off-campus housing during this time. There are some recommendations for tenants to follow while they are away. Some tips for tenants include leaving a light on for security reasons and making sure to keep your refrigerator plugged in and put out perishable items before you leave. If you pay for your own utilities, remember to leave your heat on above 55 degrees in case of a cold snap so that the pipes do not freeze, turn off appliances and computers and take out all garbage and recyclables to your designated area. Checking to see all maintenance issues are brought to our attention so that they can be dealt with would also be a good idea. To lessen your inconvenience, we can get your problems rectified while you are gone.

We want you to have the peace of mind of coming home and having everything in order. We hope all our great tenants have a safe and amazing Spring Break experience!

UPDATE: Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, some tenants may not be returning to their units until the end of the semester. Please contact us with any issues concerning this matter.
