I had a wonderful experience living with PJ Apartments. I first signed with them my junior year and ended up re-signing the same house for senior year since they were a great landlord. Everyone on their staff I've communicated with was friendly, accommodating, and fulfilled any maintence requests incredibly quickly. Our house was so spacious, with multiple levels of porch space and large bedrooms which was great and can be difficult to find in Collegetown. I would recommend leasing with them!

I leased from PJ from 2024 to 2025. My roommates and I loved the location, especially the proximity to campus yet a private neighborhood-like area. The apartment had great living space and good amenities like laundry in-building. They always responded quickly to any requests and were very friendly with their visits. Housing influences college life so much, and thanks to PJ, I had a very memorable senior year!

The apartment was in good condition, all the appliances work well and the furniture is nice quality. Landlord responds quickly to emails and the rent/maintenance request portal is nice and easy to use.

I have lived in PJ apartments for 2 years and PJ has always been attentive and quick to respond to maintenance issues as well as very respectful to give us amble notice when they were doing walk throughs or needed to check appliances. Our unit was fantastic with an ample front yard which was a wonderful spot to hangout and enjoy in addition to the apartment. With a great location in collegetown, in unit washing and drying, as well as a dishwasher, this apartment was an affordable, amenity filled, and overall fantastic place to live.

I have lived in my apartment with PJ apartments for three years now throughout my undergrad and have been very happy with my choice. The whole staff is attentive, accommodating, and never let any issue brought to their attention persist. Contrary to many of my friends living in large apartment blocks in collegetown I must say it is very reassuring to work with an owner and staff who are aware of their individual tenants and respond personally to their needs I would also like to thank the maintenance staff members Rick and Jake who went out of their way to help me one day after my dog was unfortunately injured. They went above and beyond in contacting nearby vets and driving me to the emergency animal hospital, and i am so happy to say that because of the immediate action my dog was saved from a life threatening accident. Also i'd like to note that while there has been an uptick in crime in and around collegetown since I moved to the area, I have never felt unsafe in my apartment. And when i am away for breaks, I feel secure that the staff checks to make sure no issues have occurred which gives needed peace of mind when I am away.

I have such wonderful memories of my experience living in a PJ Apartment my senior year! Maintenance staff was really great and extremely responsive whenever we ran into issues, they got things fixed right away. The apartment itself was beautiful, with big rooms and bathrooms and really nice and unique furnishings that you can’t get anywhere else. When the pandemic hit, they also were super responsible, communicative, and understanding of everyone’s situation. Living there truly felt like I was at home, and I will look back fondly on my time with PJ.

PJ Apartments has an amazing team who genuinely cares about tenant well-being and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. This was especially helpful in winter, when PJ's team kept our outdoor stairs salted and safe to walk on, consistently checked on our heating system to make sure we were comfortable, and provided me an additional in-room heater in case I needed a little extra warmth as a Florida gal. I parked in a spot owned by PJ Apartments next to my unit. When the ice melted, a giant sheet fell on my car, causing significant damage to the front bumper. PJ Apartments reimbursed the repairs, which they weren't required to. It was so kind of them and shows they really care about their tenants! My roommate and I are so appreciative of PJ's team and would recommend their units to anyone looking for housing!

This is the second agency I have rented from in collegetown and my experience was far better with PJ Apartments! I rented from PJ for two years and I honestly believe that they provide the best living experience in collegetown. From day one, interacting with them was lovely. They have a professional and accurate website, and the staff is very accommodating. Did I mention they have an on-call maintenance team? Beyond just the service, the house is wonderful. It came fully furnished with (optional) paintings on the wall, fake houseplants and in-house laundry. I would rent from PJ indefinitely if I could.

I worked with the staff recently in looking for apartments for the 2019-2020 school year. They were professional, attentive, and thoroughly competent. In the office, Nicole answered all of our questions (as she had on the phone earlier in the week as we scheduled a tour appointment), managed to effectively balance helping several groups of prospective renters, and happily stayed at work until we had made our decisions and finished the paperwork, well past 7 pm. Scott, who took us on our tour, was extremely informative, thorough, and pleasant, and is clearly very familiar with all of the properties in his maintenance role. While my kids will not be moving in until next June, so far I am both impressed and happy with PJ Apartments.

I really appreciated having an apartment so close to Cornell campus. Sidewalks would be cleared during snowy and icy weather, which was really important to me safety-wise. Great, accessible staff with a quick response time for requests. Overall a great experience!

I was a tenant for 2 years. Very friendly and attentive staff, even when we had weird issues in our house they were always able to respond pretty quickly. Also, our units and those of friends who also rented here were very nice, well furnished, and generally well maintained for a Ctown house. I can tell you from my experience that Pam, Nicole, and the rest of the staff offer a great renting experience in Ctown.
