Classes Begin; So Does Renting Season

Fall 2021

The time has come for Cornell students and they are back!  As classes resume at Cornell today the level of excitement and nervousness all roll together.  Summer break is over and it’s time to get back to the drawing board.   What that means for us here at PJ Apartments is that it’s time to rent for next year.  Our students are pretty much all back and settling in in the Collegetown student housing.  The streets in Collegetown are again filled with cars and students walking to and from class.  A new year, a fresh start, and for 1/4 of the student body, their last year at Cornell!

Renting Season

As I said this new start of the year means we are in full advertising mode again.  We need to look ahead for next year, for the next group of underclassmen who want to join the Cornell off-campus living experience.  As this is the first year where students are required to live on campus through sophomore year, we expect a big rush of people asking for renting next year.  What does that mean for you?  Well if you are reading this, that means it’s time to start inquiring about 2022-2023 Collegetown housing today!  Do not wait until the last minute.  There must be a lot going on as you are just getting your bearings and learning your new schedule and classes.  Get ahead of it with the renting!

Why now?

Within the next month, we will be inundated with requests for apartments.  You want to be in the early group of people looking.  This way you will have the first choice of place.  We have a good size inventory but you have the best chance of getting your dream off-campus apartment the sooner you look.  We have affordable and fully furnished apartments near Cornell.  Do not deal with the stress of looking for a place later in the fall.  We have a full-time leasing agent who will work with you every step of the way to find the ideal place you are looking for.  We return emails quickly and will even call you to personally discuss your options.
