Commencement

It is crazy to think that Commencement for the Class of 2022 is less than two weeks away.  The Spring semester has just flown by, just like time in general.  I am sure the graduating seniors are getting that bittersweet feeling.  Glad to be graduating but a part of them are sad that they will miss college.  How could you not really?  It is truly a unique and special time.  I don’t think anyone will miss finals though.  I know a lot of our tenants in our Cornell off-campus housing are starting to pack up and even some are moving out.  Seasons change and time flies but when one door closes another open opens.

Doors Open

The door that opens to the graduating class each year is a new life beyond college.  Yes, some are pursuing further education, but many are graduating and moving on with their lives.  Moving on to new cities and new careers.  As the door of college closes for one group a new group is coming in to fill that void.  As of September, the class of 2023 will be ready for their turn in line.  We have a whole new batch of students moving into our fully furnished apartments in Collegetown.  A new group ready to have their off-campus housing experience.  There is nothing like that experience.

2023-2024
