Cornell Commencement Returns

Commencement Returns

This May will be the first Cornell Commencement since 2019!  I’m sure the graduating seniors are happy.  Although the ceremony is for students only, the feeling of walking up and receiving your diploma is priceless!  Within a month from today, the Cornell Class of 2021, will be official college graduates.  For the remaining Undergraduates, Class of ’22 or ’23, or Graduates pursuing Master’s, it is not too late to secure your collegetown off-campus housing!   PJApartments has a few 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR units still available.

Cornell Student Population is 1/2 Vaccinated

According to the University already half of the student population is vaccinated!  This is a great sign of progress as there are still over 4 months until the new semester begins.  At the same time, the university has recorded an all-time low in positive cases.  With the weather warming up, students spending more time outdoors, along with the vaccinations ramping up, Cornell is looking good!  Keep an eye out for the pop-up vaccination sites on campus and throughout the City of Ithaca and Tompkins County.

Farmers Market Returns to Full Re-Opening

This weekend, May 1st and 2nd the Ithaca Farmers Market returns to both days Saturday and Sunday.  The Steamboat Landing Pavilion is so unique and beautiful.  It looks like the weather is going to be great too!  So, if you haven’t made it down to the Farmers Market yet or you go every weekend, let’s all go to support the local vendors and Farmers.  Food, drinks, plants, crafts, art, clothes, the Ithaca Farmers Market has it all!
