Cornell Delay – great time to rent

Spring Semester

With the abrupt end of the fall semester, this is what we know about Spring 2022 at Cornell, University.  Cornell has delayed in-person classes for two weeks, to now return February 4th.  What this means for many students is they can extend their stays at home or decide to come back on-campus, or they can return to their Cornell off-campus rentals.  Classes will be online for the first two weeks of the semester as Cornell will ramp up the testing and quarantining of students with Covid.  This is the safest plan for everyone going forward.  What were do know is that this delay is allowing students the opportunity to rent for next year.

How Can I Rent?

You are probably wondering how can I rent an apartment while classes are remote?  The answer is here at our renting company we are still actively signing leases for 2022-2023.  Our beautifully furnished apartments in Collegetown are still on the market.  Our staff has worked through the break answering emails and inquiries about renting.  We also have very current walkthrough videos of all of our units.  This will give you the best look inside any of our apartments.  Yes, some people prefer to see an apartment in person, and you still can.

Rent Now See it Later

From our videos and floor plans, you can get a really good sense of what an apartment looks like.  It is enough for some people to go ahead and sign a lease.  We are still doing apartment showings and in-person tours as well.  It is up to you as the prospective tenant and how comfortable you are.  The good news about this delay in classes returning is it gives you extra time to rent.   If you are looking for an apartment for rent near Cornell can you still rent it now and see it later.  Just email us today at PJapartments@gmail.com
