We’ve Received Honey From the Beehive Extraction!!

Summer has been full of excitement at our Cornell off-campus housing.

A few weeks ago, we had two honey bee hives extracted from the walls and ceilings in one of our properties. Since then, we’ve been eager to try the honey that was collected.

The other day, one of the beekeeper’s students dropped off 6 small jars of honey from the hives. We made sure to give the tenants a jar to share because they were so patient throughout the extraction.

We’ve all had the chance to try the honey and it’s super sweet and tasty! You can’t beat all-natural honey fresh from the hive 🙂

We can’t thank Jason Hamilton and his team enough for helping us extract the hives and sharing the honey with us. We will certainly call them if we ever need any help in the future at our Ithaca collegetown rentals.
